
Sensei Online is JFLA’s nation-wide mailing list for all things related to Japanese education in the United States. If you are a Japanese teacher, joining is highly recommended. Many important updates related to Japanese language education are frequently shared here. Official JLFA updates are typically sent out on the 1st and 15th of every month, and other members frequently share information like teaching job postings, upcoming seminars, events, etc.
How to join:
① Click the following link:

Important note: Sensei Online primarily functions through Google Groups, so if you do not have a Google account, please be sure to make one before attempting to join. (It is possible to set up a Google account for a non-gmail email address as well.) If you are signed into your Google account, you will be taken to the following screen:

② Click “Ask to join group”
Select the "Ask to join group" button near the top of the page. Clicking this button will bring you to a short request form to fill out.

③ Fill in the request form and click “Ask to join”
After filling in the information and clicking “Ask to join,” your request will be formalized and we can approve your request from our end. After you have been approved, you will automatically receive emails that are sent out through Sensei Online.
