The 2022 JLPT will be held on Sunday, December 4. There will be 17 testing locations, and all 5 levels of the test, from N1 to N5, will be offered at each location. For the Los Angeles test site, we will be close to pre-covid levels for available seating. Registration this year will start out staggered with the following schedule:

In 2015, 652,519 people took the test in 69 countries and areas worldwide. It is the largest Japanese-language test in the world.
