The Japanese-Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) is a test for non-native speakers of Japanese which evaluates and certifies their Japanese-language proficiency. In 2015, 652,519 people took the test in 69 countries and areas worldwide. It is the largest Japanese-language test in the world.
