In June 2024, Osaka University will resume J-ShIP as an on-site program at Osaka for our partner
institutions. Due to some fundamental institutional changes in a last couple of years, surrounding Center
for International Education and Exchange (CIEE), which runs J-ShIP in the last decade, Osaka
University CIEE decides to establish a new academic partnership with Japanese Language Institute,
Kansai Kokusai Center (JFKC) which is a purposefully designed an accommodation training institute
for learning Japanese founded by Japan Foundation. You may see some details of the institute if you

Under new partnership, students will enjoy academically meaningful lectures, beautiful
accommodations and at the end, they will be rewarded by Osaka University certificates and transcripts,
if their performances are good.
