A singing bowl is a traditional meditation tool. The singing bowl used in this program is a healing musical instrument that Japanese craftsmen designed down to the finest of details. * Tibetan meditation bowls (a type of Buddhist instrument) have rich harmonic overtones, while Japanese traditional singing bowls (also a type of Buddhist instrument) have a beautiful single tone and a long-sustained note. The singing bowl used in this meditation program is a wonderful healing instrument incorporating both Tibetan and Japanese sound qualities. Harmonious sound waves penetrate quickly and deeply, while harmonic overtones delicately realign the body.
*A feature of the singing bowl used in this program is its skillfully applied Japanese lacquer.
