Surveys

The Japan Foundation conducts surveys from time to time for various reasons: for research on Japanese language education (in order to improve it), to produce new teaching/learning materials, to create databases of Japanese language institutions (to make information on these easily accessible to all), to improve our services, etc.

The information gathered through these services is vital to our efforts being effective in strengthening and developing Japanese language education overseas (outside Japan). Please take a moment to fill out any survey that may be relevant to you through the links below. Thank you so much for your cooperation.

Current Surveys

We are currently conducting a survey to evaluate the needs of Japanese-language instructors in the United States. If you could take a few minutes to answer six short questions relating to teacher training, we would very much appreciate it. We appreciate your time as your comments are very important to us.
