JLPT in The United States

As of 2013, the American Association of Teachers of Japanese (AATJ) is in charge of administering the JLPT and handling all inquiries related to the test. Please visit the AATJ website below for additional information regarding this year's test, and contact them if you have any inquries.

Test Date: Sunday, December 6, 2015.

Registration will open at 9AM on August 24 and close at 9PM on September 25, 2015 (Eastern Time).

JLPT

The Japanese-Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) is a test for non-native speakers of Japanese which evaluates and certifies their Japanese-language proficiency.  In 2014, 681,893 people took the test in 67 countries and areas worldwide.  It is the largest Japanese-language test in the world.
