Let’s learn Japanese  with JF Nihongo!

The Japan Foundation, Los Angeles will offer  original language courses, the JF Nihongo (Nihongo=Japanese), starting in  January 2012. These unique courses are based on the Japan  Foundation’s JF Standard, which focuses on what and how well learners can do  things in practical settings. Enjoy friendly, interactive, fun courses  using hands-on materials.

The courses are designed for new  Japanese-language learners, as well as those who are interested in improving  their existing language skills.

Each course focuses on specific  themes and learning goals.  These are  planned based on what and how well learners can do things in Japanese for their  needs and purposes.

How to Register

To select a course, make  a self-assessment by reading each course  description and self-check list.  Once you  choose a course, download the registration form. Fill out, sign and mail it back to us with a check.  Students are  assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.  Registration for each course will close once  it is filled to capacity.

The courses will take place at  the Japanese American Cultural & Community Center (JACCC) in Little Tokyo, Los  Angeles (244 South San Pedro St., Los Angeles, CA 90012).  It is in the heart of Japanese culture and  the history of  Japanese immigrants in the US.

As a bonus, you can also experience Japanese culture in  Little Tokyo before and/or after your class at JF Nihongo!
