Japanese for travel

Do you have plans to go to Japan in the near future?  If so, prepare for your trip with us!  You will learn helpful travel tips from a JNTO(Japan National Tourism Organization) tourism specialist, and essential Japanese phrases for travel in Japan from our JF Nihongo instructor.  We will provide you with a sushi bento (bento=boxed meal) and demonstrate Japanese mannerisms.  This workshop is suitable for beginner and those who have no experience at all.  Seats are limited, so please register now!

  • Fee: $10.00/ person (Including material fee and a sushi bento)
  • You will learn Japanese vocabulary and basic expressions essential for travel in Japan.
  • Practical travel information will be provided.
      • Free maps and brochures of Japan will be provided.

Rules and Policies

1. Payment

If you choose to pay by check and your payment is not made one week after your online registration, your registration may be cancelled by us.

2. Cancellation and Refund

Cancellation Deadline: Wed. March 20
Cancellation and refund requests must be received by e-mail (jpcourse@jflalc.org) by the cancellation deadline in order to receive a full refund. No refunds will be issued after the deadline passes.

3. Cancellations by JFLA

The Japan Foundation, Los Angeles (JFLA), may cancel the workshop when necessary. Applicants will be notified in advance and receive full refunds. The workshop contents are subject to change.

4. Course Availability

The workshop is assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration for the workshop will close once it is filled to capacity.

5. Waiting List

Once the class becomes full, applicants can be placed on a waiting list. If space becomes available, applicants will be enrolled in the class. If space does not become available after the cancellation deadline, JFLA will refund 100% of your payment.
